🔷 Files and Folders

📄 File

A file is a collection of related information stored on a computer.

📁 Folder

A folder is a place where files are stored.
👉 A folder inside another folder is called a Subfolder.

🔷 Creating and Saving a File

  1. Open Word
  2. Type your content
  3. Click File → Save
  4. Choose location
  5. Enter file name
  6. Click Save

🔷 Creating a Folder

  1. Right-click on desktop
  2. Click New → Folder
  3. Type name
  4. Press Enter

🔷 Opening File / Folder

👉 Double-click on it

🔷 Renaming File / Folder

  1. Right-click
  2. Click Rename
  3. Type new name
  4. Press Enter

🔷 File Explorer

  • View files
  • Create folders
  • Copy / Move / Delete files
